How much notice do window cleaners need?

Every window cleaning business is different, but most window cleaners prefer to have 1-2 weeks’ notice when you are making a booking. 1-2 weeks allows the window cleaner to arrange their schedule and hopefully squeeze you in.

Most of our clients choose to have cleans scheduled on a recurring basis. Shops and other places with high foot traffic typically get their windows cleaned once every week, fortnight or month, for example. Others prefer every two, three or six months. These arrangements reduce the need for phone calls or emails back and forward.

Home-owners usually get us to do their windows once or twice a year. Some clients only need us just the once, or prefer to call us on an ad hoc basis, which we accommodate.

While we always give priority to work that is already scheduled and to existing clients, we do our best to fill any unused capacity with new clients and bookings. Cancellations can occur and so it is always a good idea to ask the question!
